Despite moth-long protests and public outcry, the Georgian parliament passed a Russian-style “foreign agents” law in the third hearing today. According to this law, media and NGOs that receive at least 20% of their funding from abroad are required to register as “agents of foreign influence.” Mediazona’s photo correspondent spent the last days in front of the parliament building and witnessed the rage of protesters and violence of the police.
